Each year a graduating Senior gets chosen to recieve the Robotics award for his or her dedication and contributions to the team. In addition, several runners-up are chosen. The 1997-98 Robotics Award Winner Michael -- Mike stepped up to perform as acting leader during the summer of 1997 when the actual leader was unable to preform her dutites. Following the summer, Mike was elected President and proceded to lead the team through a successful year.
Joe -- Joe held the position of Secretary during the 97-98 year. A vital member of the team for two years, Joe nearly single-handedly designed the mast mechanism that we used on the robot. Bryan -- Bryan was an honorary member of the team during its first year, helping out when he could, but during the 97-98 school year, he dedicated himself to the team. As a member of the electronics team, he was constantly called upon to fix the robot. He also helped arrange small business donations, organize our budget, and arrange all details for the trip to Rutger's New Jersey. John -- John participated on the team for two years. He was treasurer for the 97-98 school year. Dedicated to the team, John was a vital member, responsible for many contributions. |
